Team

Clínica do Nariz e Face brings together a medical, nursing and patient support team dedicated to rhinoplasty and facial plastic surgery, with practices in Porto and Braga. From the first contact to recovery, the patient is always looked after by the same people.

The team is led by Prof. Dr. Miguel Gonçalves Ferreira, a specialist in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, with a subspecialty in Facial Plastic Surgery (Portuguese Medical Association no. 35109). He has been operating since 2001 and has performed more than 9,000 rhinoplasties. He obtained his PhD from the University of Porto in 2020 with a thesis on rhinoplasty, completed a fellowship in New York at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, and developed a nasal preservation technique he has taught to more than 100 surgeons from over 40 countries. Surgeries take place at Hospital da Luz Arrábida, in Vila Nova de Gaia, and at Hospital da Ordem de S. Francisco, in Porto, with the team’s anaesthesiologist. Read more about the clinic e book your consultation.
